Lighthouse Artcenter
During its 55 year existence, the physical form of the Lighthouse has continuously evolved in response to its ever-increasing popularity. We have been asked to double the size of the existing facility to serve the community for the next 50 years.

Our vision is to add a second level to the existing structure centered in an aging commercial center. The reconfiguration of the existing first level increases the presentation space by almost 50 percent. The size of the structure will increase from 10,000 sf to 20,000 square feet. Our second-floor addition will house 5 new state-of-the-art classrooms with administration space. We have used the existing contextual features to create our front façade. While our building is 100 feet wide, we have intentionally divided our front elevation into 50 feet wide bays, to match the neighboring businesses.
