Set off the main drag, on a parallel service road, this historic area of Hobe Sound is the perfect walkable strip, lined with charming shops, delectable restaurants, and a variety of offices. Situated on a prominent corner, the empty lot has been a sore eye for many years, and creates a jarring break in an otherwise uniform streetscape.
The new Oblivious Holdings offers a unique design, with call backs to the original building, which had sat vacant for many years and was falling into disrepair. Following the former design, the building now hugs the curve of the corner lot, matching the two story massing right up to the property line. The new building also includes a third story, which is set back further than the rest of the building and is partially covered by the vertical extension of the facade below.
